This Privacy Policy explains what information Tulip ("we," "us") collects when you use the Tulip website, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. Tulip is a curated directory of AI-generated video content on YouTube — we do not host, store, or re-upload any video content. All playback happens through YouTube's own official embedded player.

Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to make the features you actually use work:

Watch history & playback position	While you watch something, signed in	To power "Continue Watching"
Liked videos	When you like a video in Tulip	To show your like status when you return, and to submit the like to YouTube on your behalf
Language preference	When you choose one in Settings	To show Tulip's interface in your preferred language
YouTube subscribe/like actions	When you click Subscribe or Like	To perform the real action on your actual YouTube account, via Google's authorization

We do not collect payment information (Tulip does not charge for anything), and we do not use advertising trackers.

Google/YouTube permissions

When you sign in with Google, Tulip requests a permission scope (youtube.force-ssl) that allows it to subscribe to channels and like videos on your behalf, on your real YouTube account. Tulip only uses this permission when you directly click "Subscribe" or the like button — it is never used automatically or in the background. You can revoke this permission at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

How your data is stored

Account data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore Database), a third-party infrastructure provider. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or other third parties.

Your controls

You can remove items from your watchlist, watch history, or liked videos at any time within Tulip.
You can sign out at any time, which stops any further data collection tied to your account.
You can revoke Tulip's access to your Google account entirely via Google Account permissions.

Children's privacy

Tulip is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
